This was one of the highlights of last year (2012)! It is always an honor to be chosen for Jim's digital artworks!

Otherwise, so much about 2012 was very difficult and troublesome. It was the year of the Blue Water Dragon in Chinese astrology. Without getting too specific, it effected almost all of the people close to me, most of it serious (and yes, sad as well), but there were other kinds of disasters and unpredictable negative occurrences which put my life into a constant tailspin and crisis mode.

At times, I even became uncharacteristically despondent. Always an optimist, perhaps with a Pollyanna outlook on events (but more specifically probably a kind of mild version of a Goldie Hawn or Annie Hall goofiness: I'm a joke-cracker), the seriousness of events just didn't go with my usual brand of silliness and dealing with the world.

As a result, I did not get much work done in 2012. For me it was the year of the ACEO. That was where my comfort zone was -- nothing grand or even moderate -- it was tiny works, some of it done in hospital waiting rooms.

As a result I don't have any of my yearly traditions to share with you this time. Check back next year if you like.
